Nibadesign Beth Arrowood

Welcome to NIBA Designs!

At the heart of NIBA Designs is a true commitment to beauty, originality and unbeatable customer service—born out of my personal experiences as an interior designer.

Through my travels around the globe, I developed a lasting love for color, pattern, and texture. And naturally, this love drew me into the world of custom designed rugs.

When I founded NIBA Designs in 2005, I was focused on solving a very real problem in the rug design business. Most rug companies carried large inventories of dated-looking designs, and worse, offered minimal customer service. There was nowhere designers could go to find the variety of beautiful designs they wanted, with the kind of personal service they needed. And so, NIBA Designs was born.

All NIBA sales people are trained in interior design. They understand the pressure and time constraints designers face. Their job is to make your lives easier—from same-day service for quotations and renderings, to free catalogues and samples for your libraries, to creating custom rug designs for your projects

For our clients who want a true custom experience, we offer the utmost flexibility in composition, design and price points. We offer thousands of color choices, in materials such as wool, silk, hemp, linen, bamboo, allo, tencel, nylon, cotton, sunpat and more.

We also offer a wide array of in-stock options—all created to the same exacting standards as our custom designed rugs, and based on the same portfolio of designs. So if your needs are immediate, we are ready to help.

And now, we are proud to offer our new, beautifully embroidered bed, bath and table linen collections—created to coordinate perfectly with our rug designs.  We use the finest quality Italian fabrics and towels, for a truly luxurious feel. Fabrics and wallcoverings will also be available soon.

Continual development of new fibers and techniques is very important to us. Our close personal relationships with our factories contributes greatly to new product development. We visit each factory once a year, and work hand in hand with the owners and their staff.

Each factory must not only meet acceptable standards for every aspect of its working conditions, but they must also be a member in good standing of GoodWeave (formerly known as RugMark) to ensure that there is no child labor used in the manufacturing of our rugs. By developing strong personal relationships with our factories, we are able to deliver superior service and excellent lead times. In return, we keep the ancient traditions of rug-making alive while keeping people employed and offering help in countries of great need.

I invite you to visit our showroom in Hollywood, where you can see for yourself our commitment to quality and service. If you prefer, one of our regional sales managers can schedule a personal appointment in your office.

Thank you for your interest in NIBA Designs. We look forward to working with you!
