Custom pieces, designed in collaboration with leading interior designers.
Every rug you see here was created in collaboration with an interior designer—custom in scale, color, and material to fit the space perfectly. This is where inspiration meets application.
Every project begins with a conversation.
Great design creates a conversation between spaces.
In this residence, color becomes the common thread. From the bold geometry of Doodle in the living room, to the painterly hues of Skylight in the entry, to the organic blues and greens of Pleasure Palace in the dining room, each rug has its own identity while contributing to a larger story.
As these designs make their way from the loom to their final destination, it’s always rewarding to watch that story unfold—one knot, one room, and one design decision at a time.
That’s the beauty of designing custom rugs as part of the overall vision. Every room has its own personality, yet the home feels completely connected.
Thank you to Enrique Crespo Design for another beautiful collaboration and for your continued trust over the years. It’s always a pleasure bringing these homes to life together.

Think these are all different colors? Spoiler alert: they’re not!
Same dye. Completely different result.
One of the biggest misconceptions in custom rugs is that color is color. In reality, the fiber plays a huge role in how a dye is absorbed.
In this video, Beth walks through a series of samples—all dyed the same lavender color—to show how wool, silk, linen, and other fibers each create a completely different final look.
It’s a great reminder that when you’re customizing a rug, changing the fiber can change the color just as much as changing the dye itself.
That’s why we always recommend reviewing a strike-off before production. It’s the best way to see exactly how your selected fiber and color will work together before your rug is made.
Whether you’re creating a nursery, a first “big kid” bedroom, a playroom, or even a college apartment, a custom rug can evolve alongside every stage. 🍭
From playful geometrics and imaginative motifs to timeless NIBA classics reimagined in kid-friendly palettes, every rug is designed to suit the space—and the special someone it’s created for.

Every custom rug starts somewhere! 🌈 💭
Sometimes it’s a painting. Sometimes it’s a fabric. And sometimes… it’s a child’s doodle.
Child’s Play was inspired by the kind of carefree creativity we often overlook—the spontaneous lines, scribbles, and imagination that remind us the best ideas come from unexpected places!
That’s the beauty of custom. Inspiration can come from anywhere, and we’ll help turn it into something beautifully made, completely unique, and entirely yours.
Why go in stock when custom is this much fun?

In this reel, Beth explains one of the beautiful characteristics of hand-knotted Persian rugs: the natural striation that comes from the way the wool is hand-combed, spun, and dyed before weaving ever begins. It’s those subtle variations that give each rug its depth, movement, and one-of-a-kind character.
Using Kochi from our Taj Collection as an example, she also shares the inspiration behind the design—a modern interpretation of India’s rich artistic heritage, from intricate henna patterns to timeless architecture.
As you begin selecting rugs for your next project, understanding how different rug-making techniques affect texture, color, and overall appearance can make all the difference. We’re always happy to walk you through the options and help you find the construction that’s right for your design.
